Focal points of treatment

Eyebrow lift
Due to the central importance in our interpersonal communication, the age-related changes of the eye region are particularly prominent. The particularly thin skin of the region, the pronounced facial expressions, UV exposure and also family predisposition can accelerate the aging process. Rarely is only the skin affected. The ring-shaped musculature around the eye slackens, the eyelid elevator muscle weakens, connective tissue structures (septum orbitale) and ligamentous structures loosen. Lymphatic congestion and protrusion of sagging fatty tissue may occur. In the upper eyelid, this leads to so-called "drooping eyelids", which in particularly pronounced cases can result in a restricted field of vision. In the lower eyelid, "bags under the eyes" can form and the edge of the lower eyelid lowers. Both make the eyes appear more tired. After an exact analysis of which individual changes are present, the treatment concept is determined. The surgical removal of the excess skin, the tightening of the respective sagging muscles and septa, and the removal or redistribution of the fatty tissue are all possible. Which of these measures and in which combination they are required is discussed individually. The goal is to achieve a rejuvenation of the eye region through the differentiated restoration of the personal age-related changes, without losing the natural and very unique appearance.
Excessively large mammary glands can lead to postural problems with severe tension in the neck and back and thus to painful strain. Reduction of the mammary gland (mammoplasty) requires that the body has finished growing and the breast is fully developed. During a reduction operation, part of the glandular tissue is removed. The nerves and milk ducts are spared to such an extent that the sensation of the nipple and the ability to breastfeed are preserved as far as possible. The remaining glandular tissue is shaped and lifted. There is often a lot of excess skin, which has to be removed by an additional tightening operation. After the operation, scars remain around the areola and from the areola perpendicular to the inframammary fold and across the inframammary fold. The technique used for the operation depends on the extent of the excess skin and the size of the breast and will be discussed with you individually. A special bra must be worn for approx. 6 weeks after the operation.
Wrinkles that occur due to the loss of substance of our skin or our subcutaneous fatty tissue can be filled with autologous fat, collagen or so-called fillers. Fillers can be used to treat the forehead, temples, eyebrow wrinkles, lower eyelid contours, cheeks, nasolabial folds, lips, wrinkles at the corners of the mouth and also the décolleté. The effect lasts 4-6 months and can be repeated.
There are wrinkles that are caused by movement, so-called mimic wrinkles. Over time, our skin loses the ability to compensate for them and they dig deep into our face. For example, the frown lines between the eyebrows are typical mimic wrinkles. Wrinkles that appear in this way are usually treated with botulinum toxin. Through finely tuned targeted injections into the muscles involved, the activity of the muscles can be reduced individually and the skin relaxes. The effect lasts 4-6 months and can be repeated.
Our abdomen is our physical center. Training and maintaining the abdominal muscles not only improves our aesthetic appearance but also stabilizes our torso and posture, thus relieving the strain on our back. However, age-related changes, pregnancies or weight loss can lead to the elasticity of the skin being disturbed and stretch marks or even skin aprons appearing. The muscles and ligament structures involved give way and this and the straight abdominal muscles, a rectus diastasis, for example, become stretched. These changes can hardly be compensated for by intensifying training. The extent of the operation depends on the structures involved. Liposuction can be performed on localized fat accumulation with good elasticity and without excess skin. In a mini abdominoplasty, skin and fatty tissue are removed from the lower abdominal area and the muscles and connective tissue are tightened. The belly button is not moved. If the upper and lower abdomen are sagging, a complete abdominoplasty must be performed. The skin is tightened through a transverse incision in the lower abdomen, the separated muscles are brought back together and the belly button is moved. A girdle must be worn for 6 weeks after the operation.
After significant weight loss and, depending on predisposition and age, the loss of skin elasticity on the thighs, buttocks and arms can lead to a remaining excess of skin that cannot be compensated for by sporting activities. The aim of body tightening operations is to surgically remove the existing excess skin in order to improve the contour. This can be achieved with liposuction or sometimes with be combined with augmentation using the body's own tissue. However, relatively large scars remain afterwards. A girdle should be worn for 6 weeks after the operation.
Forehead lift
There are many different methods that are described under the generic term face lifting, but their results are limited and rather short-lived. Precise knowledge of the anatomical structures of the face is a basic prerequisite for a successful lift. for a successful lift. The aim of a facelift is to achieve the best possible lifting of the sagging facial structures with the smallest possible scars. Attempting to achieve this tightening effect through the skin, as was common in the past, is hardly possible and leads to artificially lifted facial changes. The procedure of choice is lifting, in which the actual tightening is achieved via the muscle layer that lies under the skin and is called the platysma in the neck area and SMAS (superficial musculoapeunoreutic system) in the facial area. When this framework is stabilized again, the remaining excess skin can be removed without tension. A lift has no effect on the region around the mouth with the small lip lines and nasolabial folds as well as the marionette lines that extend downwards from the corner of the mouth. effect. Supplementary measures must be taken here. A forehead lift, temporal lift, eye lift or midface lift can also be performed.

Lipedema
Our body stores certain fat deposits as depots. The distribution of these deposits is often genetically predetermined. In women, typical areas are the hips and thighs, so-called saddlebags and the inside of the knees. In men, it tends to be the stomach, hips and chin. These fat deposits can be reduced even with strict diets or intensive exercise. Liposuction is an established procedure to remove these fat deposits and sculpt the body. It is not a method for weight reduction and is also limited in volume to 4-5 liters. liters. There are numerous techniques for preparing the fatty tissue in order to work as gently as possible on the tissue. Whereas in the past it was necessary to mechanically "crush" the fat cells with thick cannulas in order to be able to suction them out, today the fatty tissue is softened with a special solution and can be removed with very fine cannulas. This tuminescence technique spares the tissue by causing little damage to vessels and lymphatic channels. Depending on the extent of the region, the procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia and takes between 1-4 hours. A compression garment must be worn for 6 weeks after the operation. However, the basic prerequisite for liposuction is that the skin has sufficient elasticity to be able to contract after the operation and that there is not too much excess skin. Otherwise a tightening operation would have to be performed.
Neck lift
As part of the normal ageing process of our face, the superficial and deep subcutaneous fatty tissue breaks down over the years. As the connective tissue framework and its ligamentous structures weaken, the individual compartments can no longer be sufficiently stabilized. Both lead to some regions collapsing and others sagging. One way to mitigate these changes and perform a soft, non-surgical lift is to build up the volume of the face over a large area using hyaluronic acid. We concentrate on the three regions: Lower eyelid, cheeks, cheekbone. Perioral region: region around the mouth, lower jawline contour. In approximately three sessions, these three regions are refilled with a special rounded needle (piX`L cannula).
